The very latest version of AxessPW
is always available from our website www.Aaria51.com However,
it's also available from a large number of Shareware/download
archives on the internet. Many of these archives link directly
to our download so there's no problem with versions but some
archives keep a local cache on their own server but their 'cache'
is often out of date so we can't know which version you're currently
using.
We've recently updated AxessPW
and we'd like to make sure you have the most recent version.
To ensure you're using the latest
version of AxessPW just uninstall the version you're currently
using. (Start menu>Control panel>Add remove programs>AxessPW
to uninstall) and then re-install from this download.
How to use AxessPW
Using this version of AxessPW
couldn't be easier. Previous version required you to select various
options depending on your database version and method of dycryption
to use. This version does all that automatically. Just start
AxessPW, Select your database file and the Password will be extracted
and displayed instantly.
The Free download displays a
"Password Hint". Usually a couple of characters from
the password or some other information which, if you've just
forgotten your password, may well be enough to get you out of
trouble. The fully registered versions will display the full password.
This new version also has more
decryption capabilities. If your password is more than 18 characters
long then the usual instant dycryption will automatically roll
over to the stronger 'brute force' decryption which might have
a small delay of........ well, maybe 2 or 3 seconds (sure you
can wait that long?) |
